Without a doubt, THE most common problem people have when it comes to marketing is that it’s just confusing. Perhaps you’re the same and feel overwhelmed, have analysis paralysis and feel confused by all the conflicting information out there… or you simply don’t know where to start based on your specific situation.
And it’s all because there are so many different online marketing options these days. It’s a jungle out there! For example, should you be doing Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Pay Per Click (PPC), Video marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Google Adwords, snail mail… or more?
The good news is, I can be your marketing guide and mentor because I’ve been doing all this for over 8 years now.
And having been a full-time online marketer for so long now, I’ve realised there’s only 7 marketing strategies (or marketing funnels) that will lead you to a predictable result every single time.
I’ll be going into detail on these 7 marketing strategies at the free event called “How To Attract Coaching Clients Consistently”. But what I’d rather do right now, instead of giving you the ‘fish’, I’d like to actually teach you the skills you need to go out there and grab all the fish you’ll ever need for yourself.
That way you can attract as many clients as you need without becoming dependent on me or other teachers.
So let’s simplify things.
The Universal Marketing Method
After spending over $2 million in advertising, and close to $500,000 in Facebook ads alone, I’ve found that when marketing works it has these 3 core things:
1. FIND your Avatar
Everyone is NOT your customer.
So you need to identify your Avatar, or your ideal / best client. And one important thing is that your ideal client will gladly pay for what you have to offer. That’s because marketing is like ‘matchmaking’. We’re not looking to twist people’s arms to buy things that they don’t want. There is a set structure for this which I go through more at the “How To Attract Coaching Clients Consistently” course, but one of those core things is that your avatar will gladly pay for your products and services.
2. BUILD a relationship
So how do you build a relationship with people in this day and age? By giving them solutions to the problems they have. One of the best ways is to educate people. Just like I’m doing now. It builds trust and credibility.

3. INCREASE the value
And this one’s ambiguous on purpose. First you need to increase the value you provide, and secondly you also need to increase the value you charge. e.g. At first you might provide a FREE pdf download. And then you might offer a FREE 1 hour Discover Session, which although it’s free, it costs your prospect an hour of their time. And then next you might offer a suite of products for $600, where you’re giving more valuable content, and also charging more for the content.
And so mastering The Universal Marketing Method and the FBI steps will allow you to save yourself a lot of time of trial and error.
All you need to do is find your avatar, build a relationship with them, and increase the value along the way. And that’s really the secret sauce to all successful businesses online.
Remember, you don’t have to get it right. You just have to get it started!
